Nigel Farage is an exceptionaly wise and knowledgeable human being, but what I think he doesn't realize is that politics isn't just about what is possible, it's about accepting that the vast majority of citizens in the UK and elsewhere simply haven't got a clue on what on Earth is going on their countries.

No one can ever say that Mr Hanson does not have a critical eye and a brilliant understanding of his country and its myriad of contradictions as well as an eagle-eye on the Russians and the Chinese. He sees things that only a political analyst and historian can know. He also has a world view that deserves respect from both sides of the political aisle. It's America's good fortune to have such an astute observer of the goings on of America and her allies and adversaries and someone who cuts to the chase and doesn't hold back his punches. The thing that would bring America up-to-speed would be for the Biden Administration to have a place for Mr Hanson as an advisor. He might be the other team and tell them things they wouldn't want to hear, but at least they'd know the opposite point of view on the enormous obstacles to world peace and stability that lie ahead. He would shine a light in areas that would be highly useful for American power to continue as it has in being the light of the world and the world's reluctant policeman and symbolic government

  3. President Putin is a very determined man in his efforts to make his country great again, but by getting a photo op in a bomber made to drop nuclear bombs shows that he believes stoking up fear in those who disagree with him is the way forward.
