Very good interview with a very good interviewer asking top quality questions and getting top quality answers from Maxime Riché who has captured a moment in time that all of us would never want to experience. Can anyone imagine rising from your bed on the morrow at 6 a.m. and seeing blazing fires surrounding your house and having to leave all of your possessions and we must not forget the 89 people who were not quick enough to leave their dwellings and perished in fire overtaking them? What we have to realize is that our forests are our security blankets for this planet. I am always amazed that when I tell people that at one-point last year in Canada, something like 990 forest fires were burning away and 650 were out of control! No one seems to realize that this is a tipping point being overturned in front of our eyes. We have the technology to keep the bed of the forest moist throughout the year, isn't it time to open our eyes to the fact that we have got to save the forests before we lose ourselves?
