  1. We have to realize that Vladimir Putin knows that if he pulls back his troops from Ukraine, his life is over. He knows also that if he continues in his drive to occupy Ukraine and succeeds, his life will still be in danger after a short honeymoon period. That being said, if I put myself into Putin's mind, I would go for starting a global conflict. Why? This would give him maybe 5 more years at the helm. He's opperating from the dictator's handbook. After 20 years, a dictator has to expand the empire at any risk to stay in power. Putin' playing the onld hand he knows that will satisfy the wolves in his defense department. We are looking at WW III starting in the next couple of days in my book.
