  1. Dear Mr Fridman and Mr Garland, Thank you Mr Fridman for an excellent interview, and thank you Mr Garland for an inciteful talk. It is interesting to hear your views on everything. I can’t way to see the film about AI. My personal view is that humans and machines will merge and machines will be humankind's progeny. You speak of travelling to other galaxies Mr Garland and a mechanized human being aka machine will get us there. It seems normal to me that machines will replicate the human life form because our innate wisdom is built on continually refining our abilities. One day we will build a synthetic human cell and the rest will follow. Whether we go the way of the Dodo bird is another story. I imagine there will be a day when the human family will have to choose between finding a new planet to inhabit or become a subspecies. If we stay the machine-beings will be the new masters. My view on consciousness comes from observing the cell. Consciousness to me fuctions like the membrane of the cell. The membrane holds all the moving parts of the biological factory together so all of the components can function as a unit. Consciousness evolved the same way to allow all the systems of the brain and bodymind to interact. The brain for me is a biological machine for solving problems. It is not our mind. I let my brain figure out things like consciousness.
