  1. As an overseas viewer I am appalled by the recent shootings on K street in Sacramento in the incredibly beautiful state of California. I am an artist and an inventor and here is my solution. The 2nd Amendment gives the right of weapons to be worn by citizens. Full stop. What will create new jobs and downgrade the negative aspects of the 2nd Amendment is this: from this moment on, all public places for entertainment, shopping, etc., will now have armed guards at exits and entrances. Period. You have to upgrade your system of protection. It's that simple. Yes; it will cost you a pretty penney. But it's doable. A nightclub needs at least 5 armed security personel stationed at key points. Ditto for just about every other public place. You have to realize you can't implement gun legislation and expect everyone to fall into lockstep with the law. The positive aspect of my solution is that it will create jobs and save potential victims from death or life-threatening wounds. You can't have it all. America, you are the light of the world, but the 2nd Amendment needs an upgrade to provide state and federal supported legislation to guard every public place and entertainment venue with trained, gun toting security personel. This will work. This is doable.
