What needs to be done now is simple: Russia must be made to realize that it no longer can do what it wants in a rules-based international order. Whether President Putin wants to be a a part of the world community is his problem, because he may speak for Russia today, but Russians will one day not be in his shadow and many will see that Russia must abide by the rules and not enforce her own on others. I predict that the Putin era will be quickly swept under the carpet. The Ukraine War shows the emperor has no clothes; Russia may use Belarus' puppet dictator to launch the first nuclear weapons in a continental war, but we must not run for cover because of nuclear threats: we must confront them with the same intensity of will and the identical military device if need be. The time has come to forever deconstruct autocratic regimes bent on disrupting the human family in any way, shape or form.
