  1. I''m trying to imagine what it must be like doing your work. Because, for the excellent and compassionate and well-researched reporting all of you at Channel 4 News deliver every single day in this horrendous war that is creeping it's way to where I live about 200 kilometers from Kiev, it must be taking its toll on you. The top news reporter Alex Thompson is surely on one of the most difficult assignments of his career. One cannot imagine what his eyes must be seeing that the camera cannot show us. But at 8:47 into the vocast he tells us we can expect this war to go into the summer. This is terrifying; I can't turn this conflict off in my head. We know that it's only going to intensify and what I am trying to do is look ahead at Easter 2023. What will Mr Thompson and all of you at Channel 4 News be telling us a year from now? No one wants to guess probably, but I predict that the outcome will go like this: Ukraine will win back all of its territory and the annexed Crimea and strip of land. It will be a humiliating defeat for Putin and that is what worries me the most. The Russians will have to save face and that means they will have to win something big. They know that they will have to win over NATO or lose international prestige. They know that they have to bring the war to neighboring countries and take back the Ukraine.
