Dear Sir, thank you for an excellent interview with Mr Krugman. Mr Krugman, this is a wild idea, but do you think if you joined the Republican party you could be a better force for change, rather than by being as denigrating towards them as you are now? Why not switch sides and start going to rallies and speaking your mind? Maybe you could change the rhetoric? Secondly, do you think Bernie Sanders’ health should be something people should be talking about? He looks very close to having some sort of breakdown with his health. His recent heart attack makes one think he would be better off not running in spite of his desire to dethrone Trump. Something in his eyes seems to be saying, “I know I shouldn’t be doing this, but my country needs me.” Your views on America being a possible clone of Hungary are shocking and show that America has lost her way. Would you say the best thing Donald J. Trump has done is to show that the American Republic has lost her way?
