It accomplishes nothing to look back with 20/20 vision and point fingers at who did what to whom and when and why. What has to happen is to tackle the biggest problem first of what is going wrong in your country with people living in the 7th century in their heads and you in Britain getting the payback from inviting people into your country with a powerful religion that bends to no one. It is time to start with the biggest headache this is causing, form a strategy and go from there. Laws could be made to forbid wearing any sort of clothes that associate one with an organized religion. It would make a lot of people unhappy, but it would at least have the streets look like they are filled up with British people. Why not get the law passed and at least see if that starts lowering the temperature. You could make sure whoever is teaching the newcomers has a certificate from Great Britain, etc. What you have to do is get to the root of the problem and this is how you do it. First, you have to start with what is the most blatant thing that is the most disturbing and causing mayhem to ordinary people, start thinking of ways to resolve each problem by getting think tanks going and then go to the next biggest issue. There is no other way and blaming a past Prime Minister only makes everyone angry and nothing gets done.

@damianjblack GGGGGGGGGreat to hear from you. I am an artist : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kN3RCs4bYc and an inventor. I try to find solutions to paintings and where ever there is a problem. I invented an economic model in my book The Treatise of Teknomix, to replace finance capitalism. I try to come up with ways to get the human community on the same page. You are right; nuns, vicars etc. But in the UK, the cries of alarm at what has happened to their cities, where the streets one grew up on no longer look like the same neighborhood, are getting louder. I would say that having everyone in civilian clothes except the police and nuns, vicars, imams, and other people who actually work in a place of worship could be exempt. You have to try every idea and not worry about if it works or not.
