  1. Alan Deshowitz has found his mission in life and he's got the wherewithal to accomplish it. I have no such qualifications, but I would like to offer a solution to the Israeli-Hamas-Palestinian conflict and problem that I believe would not need one bullet to be fired and it would guarantee Hamas' peaceful dissolution. Here goes and I know many or most people will find my plan flawed from the get go, but what I think needs to be done is to have The Greater Arab Community step in and come together with a plan to re-draw boundaries in the region and create a Palestinian parcel of land that can house the entire Palestinian people and in which the Palestinians can live in dignity and peace and their children can have a Palestinian dream. Hamas only exists because of the misery of the Palestinians. If it were the devil himself offering aid to the Palestinians he would be voted president, because the Palestinians are living a shameful existence that borders on inhuman. Former American President Jimmy Carter called the Gaza strip an open prison. Let's be real: Hamas cannot exist if the Palestinians have a real country under their feet. This is doable; there are huge swaths of land that could be used to make a country for the people on Earth who deserve their own sovereign piece of ground like the rest of us have.
