I don't know if you had the same bad feeling, but I felt from the minute the Azov troops surrendered at Mariupol that it was a bad decision. Of course, I didn't want them to die, but something inside me knew the minute I saw them on the buses to be taken to a prison camp that they should never have given up. I could not understand why ammo and munitions and weapons were not air-lifted in to the underground shelter. Russian troops said there was food there to last two more years. Why wasn't a commando force sent in at night to re-supply the Azov fighters in Mariupol? Hindsight is 20/20. We know they were the ones who had to decide, but I am sure now they see that they have been double-crossed.

@allanmason3201 GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGreat to hear from you. There is always a reasonable explanation. Thanks for filling us in. War is never easy to understand after it has ended let alone while it is going on. We know that the best is yet to come for both sides. Let's make this one a win/win situation.

@moxie591 GGGGGGGreat to hear from you. It's good to have new information. Life is all about decisions. You and I are where we are today and rich or poor, because of decisions we made in the past. What is hardest is of course to make the best decisions during war, because there are so many moving parts in a war that it is impossible to get it right every time. Unfortunately, lives can be lost from making a sudden judgment. I go with my intuition; it's right every single time.
