What is going on with the Covid-19 virus? I live in a country near Italy and the other day there were 10,000 new cases. We are in warm summer weather and India must be in very warm weather too. They're calling it the 6th wave here. Six times we've been hit by this ever-evolving virus that is very contageous.

If one could speak to Ms Curtis I would say this. Isn't this an excellent time for some reverse psychology on the part of the American pullout? The Taliban are in 10 capitals, militarily speaking, they are sitting ducks. The Americans and their allies could double back from the pullout, surround the ten capitals, capture Taliban leaders and ground troops. You just have to think of Stalingrad and the moment a district is encircled, it is very difficult for the fighting forces caught in the district to win. If the Americans and their allies won't do it, why not send out a message world-wide for help in containing this take-over of a free nation? Isn't in India's interest to see the Taliban driven out of Afghanistan? The point is this: the Taliban have now exposed themselves in a way that would seem to be quite a black and white military solution to take them prisoner because they have got nowhere else to run to. It's the first time they have shown themselves en masse like this. It just seems like rules have to be broken all along the way when you fight guerilla forces; so what if the Americans add 3 months more on their departure time. You have to admit; this would be a perfect time for a counter attack and America and her allies are battle-hardened troops.

@Abdullah-uv9nk Great to hear from you. All we hope for is as few civilian casualties as possible. It's always the innocent who pay the ultimate price. But what is happening with the pandemic in Afghanistan?
