  1. The world should follow Prime Minister Modi's approach to being on the world stage. India embraces all the world's leaders equally. Russia's Foreign Secretary Sergei Lavrov recently came to India to speak to India's Foreign Minister and he was photographed shaking hands with Prime Minister Modi. This is the first time we have seen the Russian foreign minister smile on the world stage. He's happy because he thinks India is backing Russia in the Ukraine war. Prime Minister is not backing Russia against Ukraine or any other country at war, he's simply being diplomatic and keeping diplomatic channels open. The Russians should not believe they have India in their pocket; what they should do is let the Russian people know more about the Indian people; they will learn about compassion and fairness and accepting others as they are if they do. India is a great nation that sends peace across the world. We all can learn from her great wisdom her magnificent people and culture. Sanctions are a peaceful way to protest but there is no evidence they have any effect in wartime.
