Thank you, Piers and Gad, not for this videocast, because infants killed atrociously have no words to describe it, but for commenting on something that both of you like all of us wish never had occurred. Many people around the globe who are tuning in to Piers Morgan and they will suddenly be aware that the world has changed once again to be a bit more dangerous place than it was just a while ago. I am going to say something as a lay person with a lay perspective, this is from someone who has never been in the military or in government and, Piers, it would be very much appreciated if you thought there was something to what I am about to say and hear your thoughts on the matter. Here is how I see the whole Israeli/Palestinian/Hamas picture. Could the Israeli-Hamas-Palestinian conflict be at least partially resolved by having the 2 million or more Palestinians relocated i.e., moved to the other part of Palestine? Yes; they would have to be given and/or get more territory to make up for the loss of Gaza. This for me is the only way to say goodbye to Palestinians living in an open prison with 2.6 million of them on a piece of land the size of the Isle of Wight. This sounds outrageously impossible to pull off and would cause a lot of pain as well as be a logistics nightmare, but Gaza is a festering wound from all accounts. Former American President Jimmy Carter called it the world's biggest concentration camp, something to that order. There will never be peace in Israel as long as Gaza is part of Palestine and everybody knows it. It could be transformed into a nature reserve. Palestinians could live as one on their own land and become a sovereign nation.

@cehaem2 GGGGGGGGGGreat to hear from you. I am an artist and not at all into geopolitics or goverment, but when a former American president calls the Gaza strip a concentration camp and open prison, you know something is not right. The people there are living in less-than-acceptable conditions. I say relocate the 2.6 million Palestinians, turn Gaza, the 145 square kilometers, into a nature reserve for animals on the verge of extinction and get the Palestinians all living in the same place. I realize that this is something off-the-charts, totally unnaceptable, but sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind to get things done right. To recap: Gaza is not sustainable to be a country and the Palestinians cannot prosper there. They must have their own country and all live in the same place.

@openmind8919 GGGGGGGGGreat to hear form you. You are right and I am an artist looking out there to try to find a solution and the big brick in the road that no one seems to want to accept is that in spite of all you have said which is spot on, Israel is not going away any time soon. It is really the 51st state of the world's greatest superpower. This means one thing: The Palestinians deserve a piece of land that is dignified to be called a country and the Arab Community has to step in a re-draw some borders to give the Palestinians a country that can become a sovereign state. Gaza could become a nature reserve cum Galapagos that could bring these warring nations together to save the endangered plant, animal and aquatic species disappearing at an alarming rate. It would also draw in more tourists than the pyramids. There is no gain without pain in the Israeli/Palestinian conundrum.
