  1. Piers, in all due respect to a television journalist that is fast becoming the sharpest tool in the shed and yes that means you, hear me out , will you? That no one understands what is standing in the way of the Palestinians having a two-state solution with Israel is, well, understandable. Nonetheless; here are the goods that have been delivered via Youtube to my brain factory: as long as Hamas has the possibility of taking control---democratically---of a future Palestinian state, Israel knows full well in advance that this would spell disaster for them because an international terrorist organization like Hamas would then be under the cover of being the dully elected leaders of a sovereign state and thereby seize the day every time there was conflict in the air and guns blazing at the frontier.
