Very well done and horrifying to see how little time it can take to suffer a fatal drowning. I will never know for sure and I must have been 8 or 9 years of age and we were swimming at a public beach on a beautiful and very hot day in summer. All I remember is that there were huge waves and I dove in the trough of deeper water between sand bars and when I came up, I breathed in at the same time as a wave washing crashing and I took in a huge mouthful of water and then I remember immediately sinking back down in the water only to have my best friend at the same time grab my arm and pull me up on the next sandbar. I can never say what would have happened if my friend had not grabbed me, but my inner voice or something inside you when you're that young let me know in that sort of eerie way you know is dead serious, it me told me that I had been saved from drowning. But all I know is that you can make the wrong move and die in an instant. Another boy, in a river by the railroad bridge where we used to dive off into the deep river, well he dove but his head went into the hollow part of a sunken part of the bridge and no one was there to save him...

This was the most enlightening videocast I have ever seen about the effects of alocohol on the body. Showing the organs was shocking but it worked in making me understand what is going on for the first time. I would like to share what I do when I have a hangover and it works every single time with very pleasant results. I take a long walk and drink water from the water fountains to keep myself hydrated along the way. For a big hangover it sometimes takes up to a 2 hour walk. But the bes thing is that it's a win/win approach. After I walk and the hangover is gone, I realize that I've done my body a very good thing by being outside, breathing in fresh air, and getting some of the best exercise at the same time. I believe walking is what helps the organs and the body eliminate toxins. To recap; the next time you have a hangover, take a walk until the unpleasant effects are gone. For myself, a big hangover can take me two hours of walking to eliminate, but everyone is different. So what if it takes you a half hour or 3 hours; the point is you've lost the bad effects of being hungover and got some sport in so you feel good in every sense. Thanks again for showing me what I need to see and understand about drinking alocohol.
