As a US presidential historian, for Jim Robenalt to say the Trump scandal is far worse than the Watergate scandal is proof that America is going to experience a sea-change if President Trump is or is not indicted. My guess is that the powers that be won't want to see Donald J. Trump do any sort of jail time; I think all Trump will get is a slap on the wrist and house arrest for 2 or 3 years i.e., to spend the next 36 months on his Mara Lago golf course. But as Robenalt says, if Trump isn't indicted what will this say about justice in the American legal system?
