  1. No one should worry about a populist pro-Russian winning Slovakia's election. There should be celebration for his win, but now the work begins to get this man's train moving west instead of east. What is obvious is that he has bought Putin's kettle of fish hook, line and sinker----and he is not alone. What Slovakia's Prime Minister needs to do, however, is get over to Kiev and have him visit the front lines with President Zelenski. The sad awful fact is that the Ukraine is the cradle of democracy and if Ukraine does not survive, all of our democracies and democratic institutions will be affected. If Russia ends up on the Polish border, we all know the next country that will fall if Russia is not stopped at Ukraine's border. Our world is complex and everyone can see the cracks in the woodwork appearing everywhere, but we're all down the drain if autocratic politicians run the planet no matter what they say.
