  1. Professor Clarke explains the Ukrainian war and all its moving parts very well. Am I right in saying that Mariupol is the keystone city of Ukraine? What do I mean by keystone city? I mean, if Mariupol falls, doesn't this give the Russians the upper hand? Cluster bombs from a missile raining down on people waiting to catch a train tells us that the Russians are out to win at any cost and by any means. What we are looking at is an army ten times the size of Ukraine's. Am I write in saying Putin's only move on the chessboard for him to stay in power is bringing the war into neighboring countries? Lastly, can we ask Professor Clarke what he would do if he were the head of the Ukrainian forces?
