We have seen elderly gentlemen weeping at what they have had to endure. Where are the rules of engagement between military powers? How can it be that the world's second superpower and army are behaving so badly? What I believe should be done---and I'm taking a page out of history from Alexander the Great when he encountered a far superior Persian army---what I believe should be done is to drive a wedge to the stell plant in Mariusol. Make a safe passage for the trapped civilians. When that is done drive the wedge to the Sea of Asov; cut the Russian land bridge in two. Send units to attack the eastern and western flanks of the divided Russian forces.
