  1. Legal Eagle, may I please ask you a question that doesn't pertain to this vocast and perhaps you could answer in one of your future vocasts? The Salman Rushdie stabbing made me think of perhaps putting a label on books that could incite hatred or violence. What do I mean by that? Well, if Rushdie’s original book The Satanic Verses (correct me if I got the title wrong) was rated a XRS on the book cover meaning---Restricted for adults and highly sensitive material----perhaps then he could justify writing it by saying it was clearly marked not for people with religious sensibilities. A PG book would be for parents choosing a book that they felt was okay for their children. An XXX could be for a sexually-charged book. Could it work legally and do you think it might at least give people and publishers who write and publish controversial books and articles and journals and newspapers a way to protect readers who might find the material offensive?
