  1. As an overseas viewer, I would just like to send a message to Mr Summers from a lay person. I am an artist and an inventor who has a book coming out about an alternative economic model to replace capitalism. I am not an economist, so it's a view from another perspective of what I think would be a better economic system for a global economy. Aside from that, what I would like to say to Mr Summers is why on Earth is there not some kind of new Economic Peer Group that is based in Washington D.C. that would include the esteemed economists of the world and have them be the ones who vote on which steps for example, the Fed should take on this or that situation? What we hear over in the Euro-belt is the constant and troubling mis-steps that keep happening as far as the Fed getting things right. Chairman Powell always appears to be a good captain at the helm, but the astronmical debt that the pandemic will cause--some say about 14 to 17 trillion is a flaming torpedo for the American economy if there ever was one. And: when America catches a financial 'cold', the rest of the world starts sneezing. What am I say here? There needs to be one more... Yes; one more commission or Economic Peer Group with Mr Summers as a permanent member and as someone who should have a voice in what's going on in America's financial woes and triumphs. Larry, isn't it the time to upgrade how the economy is run in America?
