  1. We live in Europe and Italy is next door. In January, February and half of March 2020, the Chinese authorities let planeloads of Chinese leave Wuhan, China for other parts of the world and at the same time forbade flights from Wuhan to other parts of China. Red flag! Infected Chinese workers who lived and worked in Italy came back from holidays in China and the elderly population of Italy took a major hit as everyone knows. It is important that journalists like Mr Quammen investigate the Wuhan virus from as many angles as possible, but the horror stories of journalists in China getting disappeared for covering the lab leak theory and western scientists saying that when the virus was placed in front of a human cell or an animal cell, it attacked the human cell first was a dead give-away. And: that this told them that it had to have been manipulated in a lab, because a virus from nature will always attack an animal cell first. If Christiane could get Dr John Campbell on the show to give us his analysis of where the virus might have come from, I think it would be very informative to the general public.
