  1. What is shocking is why on Earth the Federal Reserve Chairman Powell would not be on the phone on a regular basis with Mohamed El-Erian. I am not an economist and I live 2,000 kilometers from Kiev where a war is brewing that could spill over any day across the continent. Inflation is visible on every product you buy here. Mr El-Erian constantly comes across as a gifted economist with vision and understanding of how an economic system as complex as capitalism must be run, why not have him at the helm?
