You have given an excellent vocast on what is going on with the Ukrainian offensive and the way you have pointed out things makes it crystal clear on how the Ukrainians will be able to eventually even win back Crimea. I think one thing people overlook is that the Ukrainians are taking back their own territory which means they know every hiding place, every location for a good ambush, every place where they can be in the advantage. For the Russians, they are fighting a war in somebody else's backyard. What I think everyone should be careful of doing is second guessing the Russians. We hear people calling them names, saying they do stupid things; I think this is wrong. It's too easy for one thing and no one knows exactly how they fight their wars. It's best to concentrate on what we do know i.e., the big picture. There are going to be some surprises and we must realize that 20 Ukrainian soldiers are losing their lives per day. 6 months means 9,000 troops have been killed on the Ukrainian side. This is not a subject to have fun with; we can never let our minds drift because the Ukraine war is the most serious event going on as far as western civilization is concerned and Peter it has to be said that you are one of the most enlightened and gifted explainers of complicated social phenomena out there.
