Peter, as someone who lives next to France, I have got to say that many in my country view President Macron and his wife Brigitte---the first lady adored by more French people in the history of France, as the most respected of all the first ladies and as a president second to none. First and foremost, the recent riots are because a rogue civlian in a car refused the orders of the police to stop his car. He was eliminated and the riots began. We live in times of terrorism; imagine, just imagine, if that young man was a terrorist and the cops let him go free and he drove his car into a place where many people congregated and he blew up his vehicule?
