One thing I am curious about is the cold, how cold does it get and if they were on the bottom in sub-freezing water, wouldn't that be like being in a refrigerator? Lastly, David says there are 7 mechanisms to get the ship to the surface even if the crew is unable to react. This must be where they are, on the surface bobbing like a bobber in windswept ocean waves...
