  1. How about looking at time this way? Let’s first look at a cell. What is necessary for the cell to function? Yes; of course, all the components inside. But even if you have everything you need for a simple cell to function, it won’t work without the membrane. Perhaps time is the membrane of the universe? What if it simply holds all of the components in place for them to function and be in synch? One thing for sure is that time as we know it lubricates all the moving parts in our lives. We move through it knowing we are going to use up all the time we’ve been allotted one day. And then, some would say we move into a new dimension where time has no past, present or future. Maybe heaven is really the place where time as we know it exists in all its forms at once? It's late, time to go to bed...
