At the turn of the century factories burned coal and oil at a very crude and wasteful fashion. There was more emissions in our air at that time than any time in human history, but somehow the planet survived and we're here. When I was a kid I remember being with my dad and going past several miles of factories spewing out thick black smoke. It was unbelievable. But now, 2022 Our industry is the cleanest in the world. Meanwhile china is opening new power plants with coal with no concern about the environment. Hey Sierra Club, go protest over there,....and India too....
