Not saying Jordan isn’t a hero in every sense and a valuable asset— but the media claiming he was providing support where military helicopters are too big to get into is a gross exaggeration from a person the knows nothing about military helicopters and pilot capabilities. At a minimum Mr Milton should make a public apology and get additional training in emergency management or resign the position. The city manager should be ashamed of herself and also issue a public apology. Jordan did what he thought he should have in a desperate emergency situation and in my view was relieving workload from rescuers on the scene so they could move on to other situations.
