  2. Yeah I think I’d have at least poured 2’ deep footers under the columns but that’s just a guess on my part. Strange thing is he usually overbuilds stuff.

  3. I almost couldn’t watch when you were on the ladder lifting that beam in place 🥴. Seems like the stuff I used to do and hoped my wife didn’t catch me. I’m sure you’re going to get a lot of comments about stability and the size of the slab (I’m concerned about that too) but if it meets specs and you’re comfortable under it that’s what matters. I was confused like the others why you wouldn’t just upgrade this building but then I saw the lift really doesn’t raise to a convenient height I understood. Looking forward to seeing you get some projects done. Merry Christmas.

  4.  @WaldosWorld  I was concerned also but if that’s what the specs call for and you’re comfortable being under it then that’s what matters.

  5.  @rifleslol  agreed, plus it looks like he’s only lifting 3-4 feet so the moment or force? (not sure of the correct term there) is at or below the pivot point. In any event I don’t think he’s lifting anything too high.
