  1. That thing would be perfect for starting brush fires. Make a cone shaped spout of sheet metal to focus the blower that will increase the airspeed (Bernoulli’s principle). Leave the intake the way it is just build a hopper over that spot so you can feed straw in, then use a removable expanded metal shield over the hopper.
