  1. Another idea for an off grid fridge—find a broken upright freezer (someone is always wanting the hauled off) gut it and add a layer of inch and a half rigid foam to the outside. Saves a lot of work getting a good door seal, recycles an unwanted item and the best part is they’re usually free.
