  1. Be realistic, this is and always will be about money, Period. If anyone thinks John Deere is going to adjust course as to the way they have done business over the last 3-4 years, they are delusional. If your company has made record profits three years running why would you change the way you do things? Just the fact that the Chief Technology Officer is the one being interviewed about the latest UAW contract and not the CEO speaks volumes. They ain’t giving up the technology without a serious fight.
