You can’t save them all Matt, let somebody else have some fun every once in awhile—it’ll come back to you when your buddy finds something he knows is in your wheelhouse. Thanks for the video!

Dude! You scored on those containers, the contents alone easily pays what you spent. Good on ya.

A year ago you had 6.7k subscribers—you’ve gained more than 240,000 in 12 months which is a testament to your skills. I knew this channel would take off when I saw the first video. I believe you’ve moved up at a faster rate than VGG and that’s saying something. Proud of you and happy for ya, I really enjoy the videos. ✌️ 🇺🇸

I just watched a grown man pressure wash a semi trailer for 6 minutes and 51 seconds. 😂 Double N Kay H that’s why.
52
The little boy smile you always have on your face when you first get something running, never lose that. Nice work guys.
50
I 100% agree about not liking to cutdown healthy trees but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. Congratulations on seeing your dream start to come together.
38
Found this channel today, I guess I’ll be binge watching this weekend.
37
What amazes me is oil drain plugs for lawn tractors hasn’t changed a bit—put it somewhere that will allow the oil to go everywhere except the pan.
22
That concrete work is definely a young man’s game, made my back and knees ache just watching. Happy for you that you get your dream shop. Hard work is paying off.
22
“Thats what I’m telling the wife.” 😂 Awesome. Pull starting the Peterbuilt should be a Ford commercial.
18
@michaelfraser5723 oh I bet you’ll be ok. It’s one word BTW and it’s a euphemism. Wheelhouse (noun) one's area of interest or expertise.
17
It’s looking good, glad you’re able to make your dream shop happen. That’s quite a stockpile of logs you’ve got going there.
15
I’m continually impressed with how far this channel has come in such a short time, especially considering you’ve done most of it shade-tree style or in a barn with a dirt floor. The word awesome is over used but it certainly applies to you and what you’ve done here. Looking forward to what the future brings. 👊👍🏻
15
@tommiemartin726 😂 it doesn’t work that way. There’s not enough lumber there for a mill to bother with.
13
Some pretty innovative ways to pull and pound out dents with basic tools. I guy wouldn’t even need a winch he could use a come-along anchored to a tree in a pinch. Awesome skills man, I’d buy this turd. ✌️
11
Happy to hear you say you were going to adjust the headlights, too many people don’t know how to do that these days. Nothing is more irritating or dangerous than an oncoming car blinding you because the lights are misadjusted. I gave a thumbs up for the wife I think she earned it for putting up with you. 👍🏻
11
Well shoot, if you’re going to do it wrong you might as well use a lot of machines to do it 😂.
11
This channel will top 100k subscribers by the end of the year.
10
Very useful build. Maybe add a removable pull handle, it might pull around easier than pushing.
9
@DieselCreek 😂
9
Me too I wish he’d do a more comprehensive video about this.
7
Drunk Dunc awesome.
7
Love the opening scene with the Semi-Super Villains, awesome stuff..
7
Hey glad to see you back, been waiting to see the rest of this build. Thanks. PS—you could totally pull off the cooking show.
6
Polecat54941 They don’t even put oil drain plugs on them anymore. Some even say you don’t need to change the oil just add as needed...that should tell you something.
6
Dirty Allis ain’t so dirty no more. There’s something very satisfying about “watching” someone pressure wash.
6
The montage was spot on. 👍🏻 Paint ain’t gonna make it run any better besides it looks good the way it is so…
5
I’d put some kind of clear protectant on the cabin—you can always go darker. The video of you dragging that stove in was the one that got me watching your channel. Stay warm. PS it amazes me how fast you got to 10k subs that’s awesome.
5
“Can you guys see where this is going”? Yes, seems like a really bad idea, need some help? 😂
5
That’s a good friend you have with the carburetor. 👍🏻
5
Dang it, every time I watch this channel I find something else a gotta spend money on. Now I need a set of these mirrors for my truck. Congratulations on the subscriber count, I knew early on this channel was going to takeoff. Good on ya!
5
I guess this is before you got the Takeuchi?
4
hawkturkey he used it 5 minutes last week then it sat in the weather until he had the time to fix it.
4
Amazing how fast this all came together really. I first found your channel during the container shop build and you had maybe 8k subscribers? You talked about all the “someday” projects back then. Now, almost 800k subscribers later, here we are with a new shop and breaking ground on the dream house. Congratulations you’ve come a long way in a relatively short time.
4
Making holes in your carpet for the seat bracket screws—heat a nail with a torch and push through from underneath. It’ll melt the carpet fibers so they won’t fray.
4
Wish I’d have found this channel sooner. Pretty cool that your subscribers have more than doubled in the two months since you released this video. Congratulations!
3
When you are at the cabin for an extended time what do you do about your vehicle battery? Do you bring it in with you or hike out every couple of days to run it and keep the battery fresh? How is the bathroom build going by the way?
3
I agree with your assessment of the rebuild by the time you pull the heads you’ll be half way there anyway. Really loving this series hopefully you won’t have any more serious issues but the whole cooling thing has me wondering. That’s one heck of a good mechanic friend to loan you those tools. Where can I get one of those mechanic shirts with the YouTube patch,? That was cool.
3
Are you kidding me man, this car is old school cool! That Gus is a riot he just loves to run. Hey Chris I got the stickers! I was not expecting that many, truly appreciate it. Jen I’m looking forward to seeing your latest video. You guys take care. Caio!
3
He said doody, he he he.
3
😂 The nog’n into the pivoting grill comedy routine had me laugh so much I missed the next three minutes and had to rewind. 😂 Good stuff as per NNKH standard.👍🏻
3
I’d give serious thought to another oil change and run what you got until it quits, who knows maybe you get lucky. If it’s going to die anyway you might as well use it up. I’m not a big fan of the LS swap but hey it’s your time and money. I like the wrecked Range Rover idea. I appreciate you plowing through the illness and fever to get content out but please take care of yourself and get some rest. Being a day or two late for your cross country trip isn’t that big a deal you can make up the time. Peace
3
Lucky copper heat sink block. 😂 Another great video. Good job on the commercial Gus. 👍🏻
3
Diesel Creek man the OCD in me was raging.
3
Where’s Waldo? We need a new video it’s been too long man!
2
I was thinking round bar or maybe even 1/2 tube if you can bend it smoothly. But on the inside of the fender well, then cap the square tube at a 45 where it terminates at the fender opening. The bumper looks nice and gives the tail a simple, finished look.
2
Hey Waldo is back, yeah!
2
Red paint should add at least 10 hp.
2
My heart stoped when you showed the bent bolt—I can imagine how you felt. Good save.
2
Sounds just about right, not too loud with a slightly deep tone. Must be nice having the lift to do this work rather than crawling around in the dirt. Cheers.
2
Gus steals the show every time.
2
Nice build, maybe a trailer jack on the frame to hold it up when you disconnect it.
2
$100 of diesel gets you 20 gals, AWESOME!
2
Dude! Frank’s place would be perfect for you. This is fast becoming my favorite channel for too many reasons to note. You are well on your way to a million plus subs. SAS envelope on the way for the stickers and maybe a little something for a 🍺. Cheers!
2
Somebody needs to tell you Brother…you have a problem 😂. My neighbor does the same thing he’s got one “good deal” after another lined up in his backyard waiting to be worked on.
2
Very well thought out build, your welding skills have reached next level. The weight of the fuel at 80 gallons is about 550 lbs, how much does the steel tank weigh? Have you noticed any differences in handling with the added weight? Thanks.
2
I’ve never seen weld as bad as what was on that trailer. Good fix. Tell the truth; you built the overhead hoist so you could play on it, right?
2
The drone footage at the intro was cool. This is the first time I was able to realize the size difference between the container shop and your new shop. Impressive.
2
Think those globs of “clay” were mud wasp nests? The spark plugs were out when you found it right?
2
Peter Zila, the best aluminum welder on YouTube and making a career of guess staring with other YouTubers! Love this informative video, thanks.
2
The Mando advert bit was entertaining.😂 You have a career in advertising if the NNKH gig doesn’t workout. 😂
2
Merry Christmas.
2
I’d say this was a good trade, you got the better deal.
2
Yes! Merry Christmas!
2
I almost couldn’t watch when you were on the ladder lifting that beam in place 🥴. Seems like the stuff I used to do and hoped my wife didn’t catch me. I’m sure you’re going to get a lot of comments about stability and the size of the slab (I’m concerned about that too) but if it meets specs and you’re comfortable under it that’s what matters. I was confused like the others why you wouldn’t just upgrade this building but then I saw the lift really doesn’t raise to a convenient height I understood. Looking forward to seeing you get some projects done. Merry Christmas.
2
I was one of your first subscribers and it was that video of you hauling your first stove in that definitely won my respect. Maybe rig something up from a couple of old bicycle wheels and make a 2x4 frame to haul the next stove in. The bike wheels are large enough to roll over rough terrain and the 2x4s can reused for something else once you get there. Good luck and stay safe.
1
When you were cleaning the axel housing with a rag and the axel shaft 🥴it made me cringe from the gravely sound it was making. How does that much grit get in there? Yikes.
1
@SimonFordman thanks for the reply.
1
The MacGyver of fly and drives. 😊
1
I was holler’n Fuel! But you keep cranking—don’t ask me to do something then ignore me, thank you. Nice work, man that was a project huh?
1
About the only way you can prevent that type of damage is installing a whole house surge protection. I can’t believe someone has worse internet service than we do in small town Oklahoma.
1
Awesome man! I’ve been watching for almost a year now, back when you had less than 7k subscribers. This channel is skyrocketing to the top!
1
$800 per seat recover is ridiculous, sounds more like I don’t need the work. It’s not that hard to make a pattern for a square seat.
1
I gave it and extra like and viewed twice for the Brandon chant. Waldo for President!
1
Don’t you just love paying $8-900 for something then having to grind on it to modify the fit? I’ll do ya one better on the coolant; get a 5 gallon Jerry can and mark it specifically for antifreeze. Pre-mix it in the can then pour it in the system. This way you get a better mix and you’ll have to do it twice to fill the system completely with a little leftover for top-offs when you need it. That Meatball is a pretty cool dog.
1
Amazing work.
1
They use a lot of salt on the roads in your neck of the woods, do they?
1
I have to ask; Did you know about the foundation issues before you bought the place? Beautiful building I hope it works out for you. The square part you referred to looks like it was a bell tower and might have had a spire or at least some additional height. You could probably get more history from your city hall or county courthouse.
1
You sure that “burnout” wasn’t power steering belt squeal? 😂
1
This thing just wants to run. Considering it’s propensity to start and move on it’s own, probably not a good idea to stand in front of the tires while starting it.
1
If your lift slab is only temporary you might consider just pouring footings for the posts and maybe a concrete “beam” between them. This way you might save some money by not pouring an entire slab. I know you’ve already bought the concrete but you can alway get a refund on unused bags. Is “good and tight” German torque specifications?
1
Hey, hey eight hundred K! Congratulations Matt! Thats a big number.
1
Dude, you might have a problem. 😂
1
New drinking game; Every time Matt says “Unit” take a drink.🥃👍🏻
1
Thanks for the tour I thoroughly enjoyed it. Happy New Year!
