  1. The UK police should never carry guns. They do not posses the skill set to be armed. This was shown by the prancing firearms officer on London Bridge. He was in a fight or flight mode and should never have been cleared to carry a weapon. If the police force requires armed officers they should be recruited from the military and have a detailed background of their active service then undergo a transition training period to adjust to civilian weapon regulations.
