  1. It’s not just the government we need to change it’s the whole system. Companies like SERCO run prisons, airports, water treatment plants and all sorts of other government entities, they make millions in profits for their wealthy benefactors but fail regularly. We need a total complete and utter revamp to prevent this continuous appallingly preventable failures.

  34. The biggest problem in the UK that all these people gloss over is that too many homes are not owned, they are rented out by multiple property owners. A change in the tax laws should be made to make it less attractive to own and rent out multiple homes. There is a shortage of housing because individuals own too many properties. It is a useless industry that provides the UK with nothing to export. It only serves to make wealthier people richer and poor people poorer. Sadly the individuals in government that need to make change are the multiple property owners. The housing market in the UK is fox and rabbit affair and as we are seeing again a collapse has happened every 15 or so years because of this. It does not promote a stable strong economy.

  49. Now is the time for the public to demand a complete revamp of the police force. We need to ban police officers from their cars and get them back on the beat. This is the only way police can actually police. There is no connection between the community when a police officer is sitting in their cars with the windows up and on their phones.
