Netanyahu and his military council are lunatics out of control, they are going to continue the genocide once they have a few hostages released. They never intended on saving anyone from the start, they are simply running a PR campaign to save a few. The main goal when Israeli intelligence planned this whole war including allowing it to happen was to flatten Gaza and kill as many Palestinians as possible.
