  1. Using thee USCG is a sure way of screwing up the search. The seaborne element of this organisation is utterly appalling. It’s used as a money spinner for the US government. It’s a good way of taking people off the unemployment list. The people I’ve worked with from the USCG didn’t know port from starboard and deck and floor.
