Within the created ether light and sound travel constantly (eg Einstein's world), within the non-created ether you live within the time/space/movement constant where light and sound don't travel and you've reached buddhi, liberated intelligence. In the latter position you're in the state of brahma-nirvana, salvation, the state of total perfection of existence. Hare Krishna.
