@مدمنكورة-معتزحفني Why are you only concerned about environmental impacts when it comes to batteries? Why aren't you concerned about acidifying oceans, acid raid, temperature increases, sea level increases, or particulate pollution?
62
@reelreeler8778 you mean ineffective
5
We are in napkin math territory for sure.
4
@EVH3730 Please share your mythical infinite energy source with us!
4
@johng4527 No, you're contradicting yourself. You just said that the existence of a consumer preference for inferior goods is harming automakers and also created by them.
4
Your engine block stays hot for like an hour. There's plenty of heat to pump into the cabin without idling.
3
What does that have to do with engineering?
3
Better than I thought tbh.
3
I'm impressed that you've managed to go your entire life without using a laptop or a cell phone. You are the most principled leftist I've ever seen.
3
It's available in automatic
2
I don't see you crying when you drive your car on public roads.
2
@anticyclingclub head gasket never entered the chart for turbo engines
2
I'm sorry you feel that way. You must be getting your numbers from a really great blog post.
2
It will. It's hard to imagine the government would dismantle all roads before this is released.
2
...You know coal has to be burned, right? I'm worried about your cognition. Stay in school.
2
A civic takes less than 0.00025 gallons to charge the battery enough to start the engine. It's really negligible.
2
Stay mad, leftist. Nobody wants your experiment.
2
Didn't watch the video, eh?
2
@snake_eater4526 500 miles doesn't even matter when a huge percentage of trips are under 250 miles. That was one of the main points of the video.
2
Says who?
2
So when are you shutting off your heat and destroying your car?
2
Who are you talking to?
2
Ok
2
Sure but then you're not slowing down as much as you could.
2
They voted for the person who wanted less air pollution. Checks out.
2
How do you know what your battery's opinion is?
2
Choking on fumes to trigger the libs
2
Like all car parts, it depends on the model. Why do you ask?
2
Where is your country? Mars?
1
@troyhonda71 OK leftist. Good job using Africans as a shield for actual discussion.
1
You're not wrong, but we have to address the world as it is today. We can't go back and change the past.
1
@BeefIngot The government paid for the roads. Do you not realize that? You're using that government funding to enjoy your private property.
1
I'm sure that the engineers did not account for extra use of the starter motor when they were designing this. Automotive engineers are brain dead, as we all know.
1
This was addressed in the video.

About 100 people per year
1
When math hurts your feelings, just call it a hit piece.
1
I am.
1
@natep1661 You didn't bring any facts lol. Just vague feelings about what you wish the numbers are.
1
@natep1661 How does the industry not talk about this? Tesla itself publishes annual reports about the emissions from production and use. That's how we know the break even point is roughly two years or 25000 miles.
1
Where do you get your information?
1
@og-greenmachine8623 So you completely trust Yale after all then. That's what I thought.
1
People who waste gas for no benefit at all are the suckers.
1
Who told you to feel this way, comrade?
1
"many" Wow, that's an unacceptable number!
1
Why does it matter if they were?
1
Do you have any examples of politicians who went against their constituents' wishes because of a pro-lead bribe?
1
$$$$$$$$$
1
Everyone is the same as you!
1
About 100 people per year in the US
