  2. A lot of those Muslim scientists, philosophers, poets...pretended to be Muslims. A lot of them rejected Islam while pretending to be Muslims in order to survive oppressive Islamic regimes. Persian scientists like Omar Khayyam and Abu Bakr al-Razi questioned and challenged Islam.

The last Shah of Iran made two big mistakes: 1- The day he supported the 1953 coup was the beginning of his end. 2- He suppressed all forms of secular opposition and allowed the corrupt and murderous mullahs to run wild. Hopefully, the good people of Iran will get their secular and democratic government soon.
