Trumpists: if it wasn't Barr's job to read the evidence before writing his "not-a-summary", then on what authority is Trump is exonerated?

@ACEDshooter ... no, Bill Barr's summary is in no way validated by the full Mueller Report.

mac423 That's... not what Mueller said. That's what Barr claimed Mueller said. I invite you to read what Mueller actually wrote, rather than learning it second-hand from Fox News or Barr.

@TheGuerillapatriot The Fox News narrative has prevailed, I see. Mueller more or less did state that he found obstruction - the problem is that were he to say so in as many words, he would be violating the Department of Justice policy that says you can't indict or charge a sitting President. That means that the best Mueller could do was "not exonerate" Trump - and guess what Mueller's exact words on that subject are? In legalese, he said "I would've charged this man if not for the DOJ legal opinion - and I think Congress needs to do something STAT".

@TheGuerillapatriot It's a waste of my time trying to explain basic points of reality to you, so I shan't bother writing out a lengthy rebuttal this time. I shan't talk about how Mueller was legally prevented from bringing charges, how the Democrats have yet to read the unredacted report because Bill Barr won't provide it to Congress, and I certainly shan't be stooping to your pathetic name-calling and grandstanding.

You're not going to find much work as a translator if you can't demonstrate basic literacy.

@ACEDshooter Yes, I think it would have been rather difficult for Mueller to clearly and categorically call out a summary of his report that had not been written yet - egads I am tired of this political chicanery...
