  1. The only way forests and grasslands are growing in the desert is by tapping into an unsustainable and finite water supply. Unless desalination becomes MUCH more efficient, these green areas you are talking about will vanish the moment that Saudi Arabia's fresh water stocks are depleted.

  2. This video contains a huge oversight: long before England invaded Ireland it invaded Wales. Wales had been subjugated for so long people even forget it's still its own entire country!

  3.  @3zzee  Cloud seeding is predominantly done using expensive chemicals dropped from planes that can only fly when fuelled by oil. One way or another, it seems as though Saudi Arabia and its citizens struggle to envisage any future that doesn't depend on fossil fuels, and isn't housed inside a white elephant megaproject.
