  2. This is the problem with opening up too quickly, as we absolutely did: it'll be much harder to get people to comply with renewed restrictions. Honestly, I don't believe those people who say they believe Covid19 is a hoax. I think it's just that they can't cope with the strain of living in a pandemic, so they're pretending it didn't happen. They're frightened, confused, and in need of support, and our government has supplied them with nothing but uncertainty. I lay the blame for this fiasco squarely at the feet of Boris Johnson and his inept cronyist cabinet. The blood of thousands of their citizens is on their hands.
