  2.  @itsmebatman  Please don't get the idea that we're all behind Theresa May. Many, if not MOST British people didn't want this mess to begin with - blame the Conservatives for that. But please, let me implore you as an EU friendly person myself, don't give the Brexiters any more ammunition to throw your way - they don't deserve it. Try to be understanding - nothing upsets them more.

  4. It is, and it's every bit as scary for us. Anxiety has become a literal epidemic in my country. People are frightened for their futures, and they're frightened of the demons in our culture that have finally been unbottled by Brexit. Goodness knows whether we can ever go back to "business as usual". Whole families have been split apart by it.  @itsmebatman  Right now, we need Europe's kindness more than at any other point in our history.

  5.  @jondough679  Untrue. People who already voted in the last referendum have largely held firm with their side - but new voters who have just come of age are overwhelmingly anti-Brexit.

  6. Thanks. :) It sounds cliché and cringey to some, I know, but the one thing that authoritarians and racists will never understand is the power of honest, friendly cooperation. I just thought it was important you knew that Britain's not yet a complete basketcase... despite the best efforts of our politicians.  @itsmebatman

  8.  @kevincarter2020  Not all Leave voters are racists, by any means, but all the racists voted Leave. Meanwhile, the undertones of the commentary I hear from Leave supporters online are pretty dark and violent. There's been an enormous uptick in racial violence and hate crimes, and it can all be traced back to the Referendum result. So in conclusion, are you misunderstanding me? Probably not. Strawmanning me? Well, this is the internet, after all.
