@jpw6893 So where are all those fantastic trade deals again? Why are we being screwed at the negotiating table, time and time again? Why are our shop shelves empty and unemployment rising? Why do we have lorry parks in Kent and why do we have civil unrest in Northern Ireland? Why has the UK had the biggest economic hit from Covid of any G7 nation? Why are we now ignored by the US and not even notified of their military plans? Is this your idea of success? I'd hate to see your idea of failure.

@jpw6893 If other countries are also experiencing driver shortages, why is it only in the UK that doctors' surgeries are having to cancel blood tests due to shortages of simple bottles? Why is it that Tesco's and Aldi have started having to poach competitors' drivers with massive bribes in the form of unusually huge bonuses? Why is it that shops my friends work in don't have stock? Why can't I buy fresh lettuce at my local store and why are there mushrooms in the fruit aisle all of a sudden? And why can't my family send a simple box of chocolates to a relative in Europe? I could keep going at this all day. And boy oh boy, haven't you heard of the Channel Tunnel, or a little thing called Dover? Do you really need a random dude on the internet to explain where the largest part of the UK's food supply comes from?

@Then.72 Most people are not willing to try Reform UK though. Don't sit there and make me defend Johnson because I'm far from being one of his sycophants - just you have to recognise the Brexit Party is not an electorally viable force.

@Then.72 The reason there are only two very large political parties to choose from in most seats is a result of our electoral system - first past the post. I happen to support the existence of third parties, believe it or not - but the way to break the two-party hegemony is not by pretending it doesn't exist.
