Boris Johnson, the spoiled brat who sacks everybody who utters the word "no" in his presence. It's amazing he still has a parent who will talk to him.

You do understand that the masterminds of the Brexit project fully intend to sell off the NHS to American companies, piece by piece? That was always baked into the plan, right from the outset. If you valued the health service, you picked the wrong side, because you've sold it down the river now.

@celticfan3585 What did I say that was untrue? Hm?

@888Caz The fact that we were in the EU at the time of creeping privatisation is a non sequitur. Yes, they happened simultaneously, but that doesn't mean one caused the other. The actual cause of creeping privatisation is over a decade of Conservative government...

K MT Weak trolling, right there. If you want your insults to really bite, try basing them on something true - like I could riff all day on your inability to thread smoothly into the conversation, your smarmy attitude, or your propensity to get wound up by even the mildest of MR's comments.
2
K MT That is a pretty outlandish turn of phrase right there. Not something a native English speaker would ever come out with.

swave158 My dude, in what way does your reply have anything to do with the original comment?
2
K MT That sounds like a great name for a kids' football team, or maybe a spicy new dessert recipe?

@emm_arr I don't even feel nibbled-on.
1
K MT It sounds like you haven't stopped hanging out in playgrounds.

Brother Spartacus Shame that's not what I was referring to.
1
Brother Spartacus ... you'd make less of a disaster of your argument if you actually listened to what I said, instead of making up ideas off the top of your head. The NHS is getting progressively sold off by Conservative governments - I never once referred to that quote as evidence for it.
1
Brother Spartacus ... again with the not listening. I never said the Conservatives started it. I said that the Conservatives have been doing it for the last ten years - which your link there has zero bearing on. Creeping privatisation has been going on for a long time, and at this point, it doesn't matter who started it. What matters is ending it. Are we clear? Jeez.
1
Brother Spartacus Absolutely! Starting with the deliberate underfunding it has suffered year on year since even before John Major was Prime Minister. After all, if you strangulate an organisation's funding, then blame the drop in performance on "inefficiencies", you have a ready-made excuse to continue the cuts.
1
Brother Spartacus Oh for the love of Pete. Will you please cut it out with the duff links. The idea of healthcare tourism is, and always has been, a myth. EU immigrants are colossal contributors to the UK economy, being young, strong, fit and able workers - the exact kind of people who require less healthcare than the average, senior, UK citizen. And don't get me started on the people who somehow manage to believe that EU immigrants are welfare tourists AND that they're coming over to steal our jobs, simultaneously.
1
Brother Spartacus No, I'm just done with this conversation. I doubt anybody else is going to scroll down this far, and I am not going to change your mind about anything. Mock me all you want, but you won't get another response. <3 (Although as a passing observation, I find it interesting that you so seamlessly slotted into the conversation, taking over smoothly from K MT - exactly around the time it became obvious K MT's tactics weren't working. It's almost - ALMOST - as though you're two socks from the same drawer, if you catch my drift).

swave158 I have no idea what you're banging on about there, sorry.
1
swave158 When the punchline of your joke is "haha, you suck at doing slavery", I feel more than entitled to give you a nonplussed stare.
1
swave158 You seem to be having trouble parsing what I said, buddy. You mocked my country for failing to maintain an Empire - and I was pointing out that the Empire wasn't such a great thing to begin with. I know you really, really want to pwn somebody on the internet, but today is not your day.
