No, they're just planning to use the army to do highly trained jobs in the civilian sector. What can possibly go wrong.

@kamsavesmoney There are some parts of the UK where you can maybe get by on £27k per year. Try living on that in London or the Southeast though, or indeed near any metropolitan area. I'd also ask the question, if you're so against nurses being paid well for such an important job, how can it possibly be fair for bankers and footballers to earn so much more when the work they do is demonstrably so much less important?
