  1.  @basilbrush00  Again, I have to reiterate: we know Covid19 can have long-term and horrible impacts on your health, and we're still discovering new terrifying reasons why you shouldn't want to catch it. The vaccine is unlikely to be so dangerous - but you want to block people from having it on the off-chance that there MIGHT be some undiscovered side effects that you have no inkling of yet? This is like saying we shouldn't use the new braking system while the car hurtles off a cliff.

  18. @Ariel How exactly do you think any of this works? Do you think there is a government agency that formally classifies something as a pandemic or epidemic? And do you actually know what the difference between pandemic and epidemic diseases is?

  19.  Martin toutcourte  If I misapprehended you, then I am honestly sorry - as you can probably see from the rest of this comment section, the overwhelming majority of replies have been from people who are vaccine sceptics (using the term generously) and highly aggravated conspiracy theorists. It makes a change to have rational conversation of any description, or to have disagreements which are not absolute.
